Speaker says Siddaramaiah govt not different from BJP regime

The Speaker, Kagodu Thimmappa, told reporters that the Siddaramaiah government was no different from the previous BJP regime and that the administration was not effective.Deccan Herald quotes the Speaker as saying, 'The government lacks dynamism. There is no transparency in administration. 'The Speaker's outburst came after a complaint that an exorbitant sum of Rs 7.90 crore was spent on microphones in assembly without permission.The Speaker told the paper that there was no transparency in governance. His ire was also directed at the Chief Minister who according to him, 'was not meeting people or holding review meetings.'
