Shivamogga town still tense two days after violence

Although he attempted to console Manjunath’s family, they raised slogans against him for allegedly failing to control the violence. Police have imposed prohibitory orders in the city and that curfew too would be invoked if necessary. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad and BJP have demanded that the government ban the Popular Front of India. A call for bandh given on Saturday resulted in a near complete shutdown of activity in Shivamogga city.Tweet
