Probe who is funding KFD, PFI - Health Minister UT Khader

Written by : TNM

Days after the State government withdrew cases against cadres of Popular Front of India (PFI) and Karnataka Forum for Dignity (KFD), Health Minister U T Khader on Saturday asked the Union government to probe who was funding the two organisations.According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, the minister said that the BJP and Socialist Democratic Party of India (SDPI) shared an implicit understanding to defeat Congress candidates in the 2013 state assembly elections. He also said that since it was “an open secret” that PFI belongs to SDPI, a probe would expose the truth. He further criticised BJP leaders for making the withdrawal of cases against the PFI and KFD members a political issue, the report added.
