Parrikar wants to import it, Yogi wants to export it: K’taka Cong mocks ‘beef politics’

Written by : TNM Staff

The Congress and BJP are leaving stone unturned to have a go at each other, even on social media.

After Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s infamous Twitter war, the latest spat happened after the BJP took a dig at Siddaramaiah.

The BJP shared a video on January 18, mocking the Congress, calling their politics in Karnataka ‘anti-Hindu’.

The video shows Siddaramaiah, Working President Dinesh Gundu Rao and social media in-charge Ramya. It takes a jibe at the ruling party in Karnataka by giving a recipe for “Siddu beef biryani”, which says:

Welcome to Gundu Rao Military Hotel

'Siddu Beef Biryani'

The required ingredients are

Rice stolen from Anna Bhagya scheme - 1 kg

Beef from illegal slaughterhouse - 1kg

Blood of Hindus that the government let flow - 2 litres

Cauvery and Mahadayi water - 4 litres

Logs cut for steel bridge flyover - 1 quintal

Steel pan from material procured by Santosh Lad's illegal mining acts - 1

Siddu brand match box - 1

Ghee from Kollur temple - 1 kg

Curd from milk powder stolen from Ksheera Bhagya scheme - 1/2 litre

Onions lifted from Indira Canteen - 2

Tears of DK Shivakumar when IT officials raided - 2 teaspoons

Siddu beef biryani!

The one who stood by as Hindus were killed, celebrated Tipu Jayanti, and ate biryani heartily remembers during election season that he is a Hindu and has 'Rama' in his name is once again trying to fool Hindus.

Two days after the BJP posted this video on Twitter, the Karnataka Congress hit back mocking the former’s ‘beef politics’, and called the party “Beef Janata Party”. In this video, the Congress has pinpointed to ministers in the BJP, such as Manohar Parrikar (Goa CM), Kiren Rijiju (Union Minister), Shibun Lyngdoh (BJP Chief, Meghalaya) and others, who eat beef and apparently advocate it as well.

The tweet sarcastically says, “Do not mix Beef and Business. Mixing Beef and Politics, a definite YES! Enough of your hypocrisy @BJP4India

This is not the first time the Karnataka Congress has thrown shade at the BJP in a creative way.

Earlier on January 11, the Karnataka Congress had tweeted a video taking potshots at Yogi Adityanath. The video had the ‘recipe for BJP’s star campaigner’. It showed Yogi’s criminal record which includes charges for murder, his misogynistic comments and accused him of fanning the fires of communalism.
