Ola manages another coup, to ply at Bengaluru airport for people flying into the city

Written by : TNM Staff

People flying to Bengaluru don’t have to depend on airport taxis or buses anymore as Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ola.

Ola taxis will have a designated space called the “Ola Zone”, where the Ola driver-partners would be allowed to park their vehicles.  This is the first time an MoU was signed between public utility space and online mobility platform, said a press release.

Customers can book an Ola cab from their app on their arrival at the airport. The Ola zone is likely to be located across from the arrivals gate, where there would be representatives to guide the customers towards their cabs. A larger pool of cars will be available for airport travellers with lower ETAs, the release said.
