Meet Bangalore's own 'pothole warrior'

Written by : TNM

The News Minute| December 21, 2014| 4.49 pm ISTEver Bangalorean's true bane in life is the increasing number of potholes in the city, which never seem to get filled properly and end up causing accidents. Every other day complaints go to the BBMP and they all go unaddressed even though, they promise to do so every time. One such Bangalorean got tired of waiting around for the government to do something, so she went ahead and filled a pothole herself. An anonymous woman (nobody seems to know who she is) would apparently pass through Indira Nagar on her daily commute on a two-wheeler. A huge pothole at the 12th Main junction, would cause her quite a lot of grief, so she decided to fix it, reports the Deccan Chronicle. She hired two workers, bought a sack of cement mix and filled it in herself with a mallet. Photos of her doing so went viral online and many have hailed her as a 'pothole warrior'. Post by The Logical Indian.
