Lawyer challenges pictorial warnings on cigarette packs

The News Minute | December 12, 2014 | 11.36 pm ISTA Bangalore-based advocate has approached the Karnataka High Court, questioning the enlargement of the pictorial warnings on cigarette packs.According to a Times of India report, the advocate G R Venkatesh Murthy has challenged the increase in the size of the pictorial warning from 40 percent to 85 percent, on grounds that it violates his Constitutional right to privacy and the right to diversity of views.
