Kannada actor Darshan and minister DK Shivakumar's properties in B'luru might be razed by BBMP

After BBMP’s survey at Bengaluru’s Rajaraeshwari Nagar area on Thursday, it has been reported that over 12 properties that have been built, are encroaching on storm water drains.

According to Public TV report, properties of Sandalwood actor Darshan Thogudeepa, former minister Shamanur Shivashankarappa and energy minister DK Shivakumar are also among the ones that have encroached.

Darshan’s house in RR Nagar’s Ideal Homes Layout, DK Shivakumar ‘s Hill View school in RR Nagar, Shivashankarappa’s SS hospital are allegedly built on a stormwater drain. However, there has been no official announcement on razing the houses. The findings of the survey are yet to be submitted.

The Hindu reported that during the survey, BBMP officials faced allegations of trying to save the house of the Kannada film actor Darshan and a private hospital owned by former minister Shamanur Shivashankarappa.
