The city police has decided to clamp down prohibitory orders along a one kilometre radius around Vidhana Soudha and Karnataka High Court on Monday from 6am to 9pm ahead of HC verdict in the Jayalalithaa disproportionate assets case.Police Commissioner M N Reddi directed the imposition of Section 144 of the CrPC which prohibits movement of people in groups of five or more and bans protests or demonstrations around this radius, reported Deccan Herald.The move is being taken as a precautionary measure as the police suspect that it may disturb public peace, as well as restrict traffic movement since many followers of the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister are expected to arrive in the city, the commissioner said.The verdict will be delivered at 11 am by a Special Vacation Single Bench headed by Justice CR Kumaraswamy.The Special Vacation Single Bench of Justice C R Kumaraswamy is scheduled to give the judgement at 11am.Read more at: http://www.deccanherald.com/content/476590/jaya-verdict-may-11-prohibitory.html
