Jailed MLA Anand Singh withdraws his resignation

Jailed MLA Anand Singh on Monday withdrew his resignation after senior BJP leaders convinced the leader from taking such an extreme step, reported Prajavani. Last week the Ballari MLA from Vijayanagara had sent his resignation to Speaker Kagodu Thimmappa citing his inability to focus on the development of his constituency.  The MLA was arrested arrested for the second time for illegal transport of iron ore from Belekeri port in Uttara Kannada district.He was arrested last week by a special investigation team by IGP Charan Reddy, said the report.Read more: Jailed MLA resigns, says he cannot carry out development
