Jaggesh warns his own party member BJP MLA Umesh Katti, against division of state

The News Minute | September 14, 2014 | 5.29 pm ISTActor and BJP member Jaggesh has taken objection to Umesh Katti’s comments about the division of the state, calling him a blot on the state.Responding to Katti’s call for a separate state for north Karnataka, Jaggesh tweeted saying that Katti was the sourness added to milk: “Katti huli iddante, Kannadigaru halu iddante; Katttiyavaru haalige huli hakuva kelsada madtha iddare.”He then urged Kannadigas “to show some pride at least now”, and added: “Avaru nanna pakshadavare iddru, avarige nanna dhikkara ide (Even though he is from my party, I will boo him.) No Kannadiga will accept this.”Katti’s comments have sparked criticism from all parties. Katti is Hukkeri MLA and has made this demand several times in the past.
