Infosys BPO sacks CFO, CEO also decides to resign

The News Minute | November 19, 2014 | 09:59 am IST Infosys BPO on Tuesday reportedly sacked its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Abraham Mathews for not complying with the code of conduct of the company, states a report by The New Indian Express. Gautam Thakkar, the CEO of Infosys BPO, also decided to resign 'taking responsibility on moral grounds'. The New Indian Express states that though the exact reason for Mathews' removal has not been announced by the company, 'Express has learnt that it was a case of financial irregularity and non-reporting of critical information'.Anup Uppadhayay has now been appointed as the new CEO of Infosys BPO and Deepak Bhalla will be the new CFO, adds the report.
