In what could be spine-chilling incident if true, a 9-year old girl is alleged to have been a victim of human sacrifice in Whitefield, Bengaluru’s IT hub, earlier this year. This came to light on Tuesday during Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s Janata Darshan.

The case was raised by the family of the deceased with the Chief Minister. They alleged that their daughter had been sacrificed near a construction site.

The girl, Sushi, was studying at the government primary school in Pattandur Agrahara in Whitefield. Her body was found near the construction site.

ToI reported that, Narasimha Swamy, the girl's father, told the CM that his daughter's teacher helped in the horrendous act committed to drive away evil spirits during the construction of a new apartment block close to her school. The parents worked as construction labourers, said their only daughter went missing on April 6.

“Sir, please ask police to investigate the case seriously and arrest the teacher because he insisted we send our daughter to school that day though we had other plans,“ Swamy and his wife pleaded before the CM, said the TOI report.

According to the newspaper report, on April 9, they located the body near a tank close to the construction site. Swamy said he found blood stains and some pieces of lemon and bitter gourd pieces near the construction site, which led to suspicion that their daughter was sacrificed there.
