A shocking video has surfaced that exposes the appalling state of government healthcare facilities in Karnataka. In the YouTube video, four women can be seen seated on a single stretcher, while they are being wheeled in to the elevator to be taken to the labour room.  

The hospital seems to be oblivious to the safety of the women as is evident in the casual manner in which they are being transported.

Locals allege this is a regular practice that is followed at the hospital for taking women from the wards to the labour rooms.  

The Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS Hospital) is one of the largest multi-speciality hospitals in north Karnataka.
