The News Minute | January 20, 2015 | 4.17 pm IST(Last updated: January 21, 2015 | 11.46 am IST)The Janata Dal (Secular) will camp out in a tent as its former office is out of bounds owing to legal disputes concerning the land.Party supremo H D Deve Gowda on Tuesday said that they will set up a tent on the premises of their old office. The move comes after they were asked to vacate the premises of their office. The land on which the Janata Dal (Secular) office stands is under dispute and there were four claimants to the land, including the party. The JD (S)'s claim over the land was rejected by the courts.The Janata Dal (Secular) is one of the parties which grew out of the Janata Party in 1999. Gowda said that the party workers would set up a tent outside the building which housed their office as they had asked the government to provide them with an alternative site but even the alternative identified by the government was under dispute.Stating that as there was no place for them to shift their files and documents to, the party workers would simply set up a shed on the premises and continue to function from there, until the party was given alternative.
