Fifteen-year-old allegedly gang raped in JP Nagar

 A fifteen-year-old girl was allegedly gang raped by three men in JP Nagar police limits in Bengaluru on Wednesday afternoon. A complaint was filed by the girl on Wednesday night at the JP Nagar Police station following which all three accused were arrested. A case has been registered under Section 376 D of the Indian Penal Code and POCSO Act, 2012. The police have said that the girl was taken for a medical examination to Victoria hospital and  that the test result confirmed rape, states a report by The Hindu. The girl stays with her grandmother in a slum in the JP Nagar area. The three accused- Asai (19) a vegetable vendor, Santosh (21) a water can delivery boy and Ajay (21) an auto driver- also live in the same neighbourhood. The men had earlier befriended the girl and on Wednesday afternoon lured her to a nearby construction site where they allegedly raped her.
