Corruption allegations against Bengaluru Police Commissioner M N Reddi

Image courtesy: M N Reddi Twitter profileA complaint has been lodged with the Lokayukta against Bengaluru Police Commissioner MN Reddi over allegations of corruption during his posting at the Karnataka State Police Housing Corporation.Kannada news channel TV9 reported that Chairman of the Corporation DIG Sushant Mahapatra, had lodged the complaint with Upalokayukta Subhash B Adi, alleging that there were irregularities in the establishment of police stations and police quarters when Reddi was heading the Corporation.Mahapatra approached the Lokayukta after his letters to the Chief Secretary, Finance Secretary and Home Secretary a month ago yielded no results, TV9 reported.Speaking to TV9, Reddi said that he was not aware of the complaint against him and would be able to comment only after seeking details. He added that he had not flouted any laws during his posting at the corporation.
