Boulevard of billionaires: Five things you need to know about Flipkart CEO Binny Bansal’s new home

1) Flipkart co-founder and CEO Binny Bansal has bought a 10,000-sq-ft property for Rs 32 crore in Bengaluru’s Koramangala 3rd block area, reported Economic Times.  He has availed loans from two banks to buy this property. 
The registration of the house was done about a week ago.

2) Trisha and Binny Bansal’s new neighbours include Infosys co-founders Nandan Nilekani and Kris Gopalakrishnan, cardiac surgeon and founder of Narayana Health Dr Devi Shetty and Rajya Sabha MP and founder of BPL Money, Rajeev Chandrasekha.  

3) The financial paper noted that the property is not too far away from where Flipkart started nine years ago.

4) By purchasing the property from the Iqbal family, who were long-time residents of the neighbourhood, the 32-year-old has also managed to acquire a property in the same neighbourhood as Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal.

5) Binny Bansal has reportedly paid the highest stamp duty for any residential property transaction with the local sub-registrar.
