As if losing his wife was not enough, a man was booked after his wife riding pillion fell and died after bike’s wheels got stuck on an under-repair trench dug by Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) on Kammanahalli Main Road on Monday.

The victim, Jolly Abraham (45), a pre-school teacher was on her way to work. She was being dropped by her husband Abraham, who is a retired army officer. Jolly was not wearing a helmet, reported The Times of India.
