Bengaluru techie brandishes toy gun at bus driver for brushing against his car, gets beaten up

A techie was beaten up by KSRTC employees and passersby after he allegedly threatened a KSRTC bus driver with a toy gun.

The incident happened on Bengaluru-Mysuru road on Sunday morning.

Satwik Chikka Hanumaiah, the 27-year-old techie who works in Bengaluru, reportedly stopped the bus which brushed against his car, reported The Times of India.

The techie was on his way to Srirangapatna with his friends in a car. As he was heading towards Mysuru, KSRTC bus driver Vishwanath had an altercation, and they started chasing and blocking each other’s vehicles, police said.

According to The Times of India, Vishwanath stopped the vehicle near Bidadi bus stand where he and Satwik fought.

“Vishwanath's colleagues, including bus drivers and conductors, gathered at the spot. Satwik pulled out his air gun and threatened them,” police said.

Following this the KSRTC employees and others attacked Satwik and his car.

Both Vishwanath and Satwik has lodged a complaint against each other.
