Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced a partial suspension of services on the Purple Line this Sunday, January 19, to facilitate track maintenance. Metro services will not operate between Nadaprabhu Kempegowda (Majestic) station and Indiranagar stations from 7 am to 10 am.

The inoperative section includes the stretch between Cubbon Park and MG Road stations, where maintenance work is scheduled. However, services on the remaining sections of the Purple Line – from Challaghatta to Nadaprabhu Kempegowda (Majestic) and Whitefield (Kadugodi) to Indiranagar – will run as per regular schedule, from 7 am onwards.

Operations on the Green Line will remain unaffected, with trains running as per the standard schedule starting at 7 am.
