A twenty-two-year old man bludgeoned his friend to death near Wilson garden cemetery for teasing his wife, as reported by the Deccan Herald.

The suspect Deepu and his friend, deceased Sarath were both neighbours living in Anjaneya slum. Things turned ugly between the two friends when Deepu’s wife complained about Sarath continuously teasing her.  According to reports in the DH, Sarath did not stay away from Deepu’s wife even after repeated warnings from the latter. Irked by the same, Deepu who decided to eliminate Sarath invited him for a drink at a local bar on Monday night. After they both consumed alcohol together, Deepu took Sarath to an isolated place near the Wilson garden cemetery and murdered him.

The DH also reported that the accused Deepu has admitted to his crime to the local police who questioned him.
