Bengaluru: 26-year-old woman gang raped, three accused arrested

Three persons were arrested on Tuesday for the gang rape of a 26-year-old woman in Electronic City area of Bengaluru.

The incident happened on the night of May 15 at a birthday party in the accused’s house, said Mithun, Inspector, Electronic City Police Station, where the case was filed.

The girl works at a beauty parlour and she filed the complaint on May 16.

Names of the accused are Babu, Bukhtiyar and Khalid and they were known to the victim.  

Medical examination of the accused is yet to be conducted.

A case of rape has been registered.
