Bangalore couple kidnaps and murders their neice

Later, fearing that they would be recongised, they killed her.According to a report in The Hindu, Ashok Nagar police, Salman (28) and Shabrin (20) decided to kidnap their neice Rathiba. The hatched the plan as Salman, a fish breeder, had lost a lot of money in his business. On Wednesday Salman sent his wife to the child’s school to pick her up. Shabrin had dressed in a burqa to disguise herself and took Rathiba to her own house. Once she reached, Salman told his sister Shamina and her husband Nisar that they had kidnapped Rathiba and demanded Rs. 10 lakh for her safe return. Salman even accompanied his brother-in-law Nisar to the police station, but the police smelled something fishy and learned of his involvement after investigating the number from which the ransom message was sent.
