AAP brings a manifesto for an election it is not even contesting

The Karnataka unit of the Aam Aadmi Party has not put up a single candidate in the Bengaluru civic polls scheduled for later this week, but have released what they have called the "People's manifesto".

For the AAP, after Delhi and Punjab, their major support base has been Bengaluru City ever since the party came into existence.

In the "People's manifesto", the party outlines its plan for "Bombat Bengaluru" and based on their interactions with the people, social-welfare organizations, surveys and inputs received from their party members, the party proposes solutions for the various civic problems that the city encounters. These include, infrastructure, water, waste management system and corruption, education, sustainable development, health andn other issues.

However, the AAP's manifesto is not very different from that of other mainstream parties which are contesting these elections.
