Will Nagarjuna – Nani film materialise?

Written by : Digital Native

There have been reports that Nagarjuna and Nani may team up for a multi-starrer that will be helmed by Sriram Adithya. During a film-related event, Nagarjuna was questioned about it, to which he had replied that there is a strong possibility of the film going on the floors soon and he is looking forward to teaming up with Nani.

While Nagarjuna was forthcoming to discuss about the film, Nani seemed to be reluctant to reveal anything about it. During the promos of Middle Class Abbayi (MCA), Nani told reporters who had questioned him about the multi-starrer that it is still in the nascent stages and he wouldn’t disclose any further details until the project is finalised.

Nani’s MCA was released recently and the star has a couple of Telugu movies such as Krishnarjuna Yudham, directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and Awe directed by Prashanth Varma in different stages of production. Apart from these Telugu movies that are slated for release next year, he is also busy with the Tamil movie Palaandu Vazhga, in which he will be making a cameo appearance.

Nagarjuna has had two film releases - Om Namo Venkatesaya and Raju Gari Gadhi – 2, this year and is in talks with a couple of filmmakers to lock his next.

Sriram Aditya’s debut in the Telugu film industry was with Bhale Manchi Roju, which had Sudheer Babu and Wamiqa Gabbi as the lead pair. He then went on to direct Shamantakamani, which was released this year. The film starred Nara Rohit, Sudheer Babu, Sundeep Kishan, Aadi Saikumar, and Rajendra Prasad in the lead roles. With the director impressing Nagarjuna and Nani with a script, we can expect an official word from him about the star cast and other details very soon.
