The producers of the upcoming Kannada film KGF 2 will be revealing the identity of the character Adheera in the film. The character was introduced in the prequel but the actor’s identity has been a well-guarded secret. The character, however, will be disclosed on July 29th at 10 am.

KGF: Chapter 1 and KGF: Chapter 2 have been directed by Prashanth Neel, who has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues. Vijay Kiragandur produced the project under his banner Hombale Films. The film has Yash playing the lead role and paired up opposite him is Srinidhi Shetty.
The technical team comprises of music director Ravi Basrur, cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda, and art director Shivakumar. While Yash and Srinidhi Shetty play the lead pair in it, the star cast also includes Achyuth Kumar, Nassar, Anant Nag and Vasishta N Simha.
KGF: Chapter 1, which hit the marquee in December last year, was released in five languages simultaneously – Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam – and Yash instantly became a star and enjoyed a pan-Indian appeal. It was distributed by some of the high profile distributors in the film industry. In Tamil, the distribution rights were lapped up by Vishal’s Vishal Film Factory and the Malayalam version is distributed by Global United Media. The Hindi release is distributed by Farhan Akthar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment jointly with Anil Thadani’s AA Films.
With KGF turning out to be a massive success in all the languages, movie buffs are waiting for the sequel eagerly. Like the prequel, KGF 2 will be dubbed and released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
