Watch: Teaser of Adivi Sesh-Regina Cassandra starrer ‘Evaru’ released

The teaser of Adivi Sesh and Regina Cassandra starrer Evaru is out and has caught the attention of film buffs. The teaser indicates that the film addresses incidents of sexual assault, murder and conspiracy but not much is divulged in this teaser which is over a minute long. Regina plays the victim while Adivi Sesh is seen portraying the role of a police officer.

The teaser was unveiled on social media by Samantha Akkineni on Twitter. She wrote, “Every time i launch your teaser, it leaves me with a question and curiosity! @AdiviSesh i can’t wait to know #EvaruTeaser Good luck @ramjivv @reginacassandra @Naveenc212 @murlisharma72 @abburiravi @SricharanPakala @Garrybh88 @Vamsi_P1988 @PVPCinema (sic).”

Before the teaser launch, Adivi Sesh wrote, “Dear @samantharuthprabhuoffl , Grateful that you & Mahesh sir launched #Kshanam. You personally launched the #Goodachari teaser. Both films I'm extremely proud of. You truly are Lady Luck. :) Thank you for launching #Evaru tomorrow Queen Bee! Means the world!”

Evaru is directed by Venkat Ramji with dialogues by Abburi Ravi. The technical crew of this flick include Sricharan Pakala for music composition, Vamsi Patchipulusu on camera and Garry BH for editing. Regina Cassandra plays the female lead in this flick, with Naveen Chandra and Murli Sharma in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled to hit the marquee on August 23 and is currently in the post-production mode.

Adivi Sesh's next would be a bilingual titled Major.  Mahesh Babu is making his debut as a producer with this project and is bankrolling it under his banner Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu Entertainment (GMB) in association with Sony Pictures Productions.  

Recently, Adivi Sesh has announced that he will be working on the sequel to the hit movie Goodachari. More details about this project are expected to be out soon.

It may be noted here a few months ago there was an announcement that Chetan Bhagat’s novel 2 States: The Story of My Marriage will be adapted as a film in Telugu with Adivi Sesh and Shivani, daughter of Dr Rajashekar, roped in to play the lead pair. But the producer of this film, titled 2 States, scrapped the project over some creative differences with the director MLV Satyanarayana.
