Director Srinu Vaitla’s upcoming film with Ravi Teja is titled, Amar Akbar Anthony, is gearing up for release on November 16. The teaser of Amar Akbar Anthony is out and shows the lead star in three different get-ups. Ravi Teja plays three different roles in the film and his get-ups are quite interesting. Also, Ileana, who is back in the Telugu film circuit after a long gap, looks refreshingly beautiful.

The teaser begins with the dialogue ‘Mugimpu Rasukunna Tharuvathe, Katha Modalupettali’ and ends with Ravi Teja saying ‘Relax’. From the teaser, it is evident that Amar Akbar Anthony will revolve around the three characters played by Ravi Teja, the villain, and heroine Ileana.

Directed by Srinu Vaitla, the film is bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Praveen Marpuri under the banner Mythri Movie Makers. The story of the film is written jointly by Srinu Vaitla and Vamsi Rajesh Kondaveeti while the former has wielded the megaphone to direct the venture.

The film has Ileana D'Cruz playing Ravi Teja’s heroine with Vikramjeet Virk, Sunil, Abhimanyu Singh and Sayaji Shinde in supporting roles. Incidentally, Ileana and Ravi Teja have shared the screen space in three movies - Khatarnak, Kick, Devudu Chesina Manushulu - in the past and their screen chemistry has been good. Its technical crew includes S Thaman for music, Venkat C Dileep for cinematography and MR Varma for editing.

Director Srinu Vaitla and hero Ravi Teja have a good track record together having worked together in three films - Nee Kosam (1999), Venky (2004) and Dubai Seenu (2007). They are teaming up for the fourth time after more than a decade which has raised the expectation levels.
