The News Minute | August 29, 2014 | 08:19 am ISTWhat do you do when a lion paces and growls on the other side of the cage, seemingly very excited? You open the cage. Disclaimer: Only if you happen to be the lion's friend; or rather, if you are sure the lion considers you a friend and not a meal.A video uploaded on YouTube by J Hawk Daily on August 21 shows how, when a man open the gate of a fence that surrounds a lioness, he is greeted by a very warm hug. Calling a lion cute may not be agreeable to many, but the moment captured on camera is just plain adorable. According to The Daily Mail, the man is Valentin Gruener, a conservationist at a reserve in Botswana. Gruener, it is said, has raised the lioness, Sirga, from its birth. Gruener works for the Modisa Wildlife Project in Botswana that works towards the conservation and protection of big cats. Here is the video.
