Ahead of the release of Aramm in which Nayanthara plays a District Collector, the actor was spotted chilling on the beach in Vizag. According to online reports, she was there after completing the shoot for a Telugu film in which she stars with actor Balakrishna.

Nayanthara is immensely popular in the two Telugu speaking states as she is in Tamil Nadu, so the actor sitting by herself on the beach without fans engulfing her has created quite a stir.

It's unclear who shot the brief clip and shared it. However, it appears to be genuine, considering costume designer and stylist Neeraja Kona who is with the film's team in Vizag has tweeted it too.

The actor, dressed in a casual grey T-shirt, can be seen staring at the waves breaking against the rocks in what looks like a windy evening. Though Nayanthara is not on social media, the clip has been shared by her enormous fanbase several times.

Nayanthara is the highest paid woman star in the south. While she continues to act in mainstream films with superstars, she has also done smaller films where she has more substantial roles to play.

Aramm, directed by Gopi Nainar, will hit the screens on Friday. The film's teaser and trailer have set expectations high and it appears that Nayanthara will be playing the role of a saviour of the masses which is usually played by male stars.

The actor seems to have taken a break from appearing in glamorous roles for this film. The promos show her dressed in sober sarees, taking up the concerns of the common people. She also gets to mouth "punch" dialogues!

Though she made her debut in Malayalam, Nayanthara has done more films in Telugu and Tamil. In recent times, her fans have bestowed her with the title 'Lady Superstar'.
