Director Sundar C and Vishal are teaming up for the third time after Aambala and Madha Gaja Raja and the film has been titled Action. The film's first look was released on Wednesday by actor Khushbu Sundar.

Vishal is seen in an action avatar in the first look, where he is suspended from a tall building.

Vishal took to Twitter and tweeted the second look of the film. "Here's the Second Look Poster of my next movie titled as #Action directed by#SundarC sir & produced by @tridentartsoffl #RRavindran #ActionSecondLook #ஆக்‌ஷன் @tamannaahspeaks @hiphoptamizha @AishwaryaLeksh4 @iYogiBabu @sureshsubha @anbariv ⁦@khushsundar⁩" he wrote.

Touted to be a romantic action film, it features Tamannaah Bhatia as one of the leading ladies. Aishwarya Lekshmi, best known for her work in Tovino Thomas’s Mayanadhi and Nivin Pauly’s Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela, is all set for her Tamil debut in this film.

Both Tamannaah and Aishwarya are said to have equal screen space in the film. While Vishal and Tammannah had shared the screen space in Kaththi Sandai earlier, this film will be their second film together.

The film has been shot in various picturesque locations in Tukey and Azerbaijan, while the third schedule of the film's shoot happened in Hyderabad on 3 July. It might be noted that during the shooting of an action sequence in Turkey, Vishal was severely injured while riding All-terrain vehicle (ATV).

The incident happened while shooting an action sequence choreographed by National Award winning stunt duo Anbariv. Produced by Trident Arts R Ravindran, the film also features Yogi Babu in an important role.

On the technical front,  Dudley is in charge of Cinematography. For those unfamiliar with Dudley, he is the lens-man behind many super hit Bollywood films like Dilwale, Jagga Jasoos to name a few. Srikanth NB is in charge of editing. The film features music by Hiphop Tamizha.
