Vishal’s Malayalam debut film will be titled 'Villain'

Written by : TNM

Actor Vishal is making his Mollywood debut with Mohanlal, and their project has been titled Villain, with the tagline 'Good is Bad'. Mohanlal shared the film’s title on his Facebook page. Sources indicate that Vishal might be playing an antagonist in the film. The project also features an ensemble cast, including Manju Warrier, Hansika and Raashi Khanna. Directed by B. Unnikrishnan, the film is being produced by Lingaa fame Rockline Venkatesh.

Vishal joins the long list of Tamil actors who have chosen to do Malayalam films, the most recent example being Arya in the Mammootty starrer The Great Father. It is believed that Vishal accepted the offer at the behest of Mohanlal, and was excited to be making inroads into a new industry. Despite being busy with the Producers’ Council election campaign, Vishal took out time to shoot for his role in the film.

In Tamil, Vishal is on the verge of wrapping up Mysskin’s Thupparivaalan and Irumbu Thirai. He’s also likely to sign his debut Telugu film this year. He had revealed in a few of his recent interviews that he is thinking of working in the Telugu industry this year.
