Vinay Rajkumar’s upcoming film is currently in progress. Touted to be a sports entertainer, it will have the young star playing a professional boxer. Helming the project as its director is Karm Chawla, a well-known cinematographer. Incidentally, he will also crank the camera for this venture.

According to the latest reports doing the rounds about this film, we hear that it has been titled 10. Explaining about the choice of title, the film’s producer Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah said in an interview to Cinema Express, “The film features the hero as a professional boxer, which game inside the ring ends with the countdown of 10. That is one of the reasons we want to go with this title, which is apt for the film’s story (sic).”

The team has planned to shoot the first schedule for 22 days and during this period a major part of the talkie portions are expected to be canned. Scenes involving boxing will be shot during the month of October.

Considering the nature of the subject, Vinay underwent rigorous training for the role. On Vinay’s training, the producer said he is one hardworking actor. The producer said that Vinay trained hard for the film, so much so that he can now participate in a boxing competition. “The trainer behind Vinay’s body transformation and boxing skills was at the film’s muhurath, and he mentioned that the actor is so fit and well-trained that he can participate in a boxing competition. I felt it was a huge appreciation for Vinay. He not only focused on getting the right physique, but also made sure that he learned the skill,” the producer said.

While Vinay Rajkumar plays the main lead in this entertainer, Anusha Ranganath plays the lead opposite him. It may be noted here that Vinay’s last release as hero was Ananthu Vs Nusrath, which had hit the marquee in December last year. He currently has Gramayana and Yavakesari in his kitty needing his attention.
