Vikram sports salt and pepper look for Don’t Breathe remake

Written by : TNM

If rumours are anything to go by, Vikram’s current salt-and-pepper look is for the role of an elderly blind character from the Tamil remake of "Don’t Breathe". As the actor’s "Saamy" sequel has been pushed indefinitely, we’ve learnt from reliable sources that he’s gearing up to start working on the remake of the latest Hollywood thriller which took the box-office by storm. Although it’s not yet known who will helm the remake,  it's certain that the project is taking shape.

Following the success of "Iru Mugan", Vikram had too many options to choose from and he wasn’t sure which one to go with. He also expressed interest in two other scripts by "Bramman" director Socrates and "Sethupathi" director Arun Kumar. But both these scripts were required to be reworked upon following some suggestions from the actor who, instead of waiting, decided to work on the remake of "Don’t Breathe" because he believes it can be easily adapted to match Tamil sensibilities.

Having already played a blind character twice, Vikram shouldn’t find the role difficult to essay. The rest of the cast and crew will be finalized soon and an official announcement is awaited.
