Vijay's upcoming film with AR Murugadoss is titled Sarkar and scheduled to release this Deepavali. And now, the director has revealed that Vijay's character in the film is inspired by Google CEO Sundar Pichai.

In fact, Vijay also goes by the same name in the film. The actor's styling is supposedly similar to the Google CEO. Speaking to Vikatan, Murugadoss said that the film is about a man from the corporate world entering politics. He also added that the team had done a lot of research on Sundar Pichai's life. Asked if he'd met with Sundar Pichai, Murugadoss said that they were planning to do so after the film released.

Further, Murugadoss revealed that Vijay would be playing a character with a negative shade. He described the characterisation thus: "When we see two dinosaurs fight, there will be one that we want to see winning. He's that dinosaur in the film." Murugadoss said this in response to a question on why his hero was from the corporate world when his earlier Vijay film, Kaththi, spoke about the evils of it.

Sarkar also stars Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu and Radha Ravi.
