Vijay Sethupathi a great talent and human being: Madhavan

Written by : TNM

Madhavan has teamed up with Vijay Sethupathi for the first time in upcoming action-thriller Vikram Vedha. Since the release of its release, the film has garnered good buzz on social media, and Madhavan is very confident about the project.

Talking about the film in his latest interview to The Hindu, he said, “Whenever I do a film, I hope to hell that I am doing an interesting one. And, Vikram Vedha is one of the most exciting scripts I have done. It is not a normal cop versus bad guy story. I play an unscrupulous and unsympathetic guy.”

Calling Vijay Sethupathi his brother, he said, ““He is not only a great talent, but also a good human being, and we got along like a house on fire. You will only see the fight on screen, but off screen, we were talking, joking and sharing a lot.”

For his role of a ruthless cop in the film, Madhavan achieved a lean look. He had earlier said in a statement, “I'm glad that I've managed to achieve this look without any workout and just followed my own secret diet which got me such a fantastic result. I do not eat after 6pm and ensure to keep at least a five-and-a-half-hour gap between two meals.

The film, which is directed by husband and wife duo Pushkar-Gayathri, stars Vijay Sethupathi in the role of a gangster, apart from Kathir, John V.
