'Vijay 60' shooting progressing well, nearing completion

The shooting of Vijay's next, tentatively titled Vijay 60, featuring Keerthy Suresh as the female lead and being directed by Bharathan, is progressing at breakneck speed.

According to sources from the film's camp, the team has completed nearly 70 per cent of the shoot in their Hyderabad and Chennai's current schedule. The entire shoot will be wrapped before Diwali, after which the post-production work will begin in full swing.

With the film slated to release in Pongal 2017, the team will have minimum three months for the release.

The film marks the third collaboration of director Bharathan with Vijay after Azhagiya Tamizh Magan and Vijay's blockbuster 'Ghillie', for which he had written the dialogues. The duo has promised to produce a wholesome entertainer this time.

Being bankrolled by Vijay Productions, the film has music by Santhosh Narayanan and also stars Harish Uthaman, Jagapathi Babu, Y Gee Mahendran, Daniel Balaji and Aparna Vinod in important roles.
