Vetrimaran's Visaranai as Vicharana in Telugu

After bagging three National Awards and creating a huge splash in several international film festivals, Tamil film 'Visaranai' is all set to hit the Telugu market.

The realistic crime drama is based on the real life story of an auto driver from Madurai who, along with three other innocents, is captured by the Andhra Pradesh police and is brutally tortured in the name of inquiry.

The film is being dubbed into Telugu and has been titled as ‘Vicharana’. The Telugu dubbing rights of the film were acquired by Senior producer C Kalyan and the film will be hitting the screens soon.

Visaranai is written and directed by Vetrimaaran, who has previously directed Polladhavan (2007) and the National Award-winning Aadukalam (2011), both starring Dhanush.

Produced by Dhanush, Visaranai stars Attakathi Dinesh, Samuthirakani, Ajay Ghosh and Telugu girl Anandhi.
