Director Tharun Bhascker is currently busy with a project feature Venkatesh in the lead role. As per latest reports, the filmmakers are planning to rope in Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui for an important role in the film. Sources in the know say that it is a performance oriented role and that the director is set on having Nawazuddin Siddiqui on board for the project. However, producer Suresh Babu has clarified that nothing has been confirmed.

Meanwhile, director Tharun Bhascker is expecting the release of Meeku Maathrame Cheptha in which he plays the lead role. Arjun Reddy fame Vijay Deverakonda is turning producer with this film. Abhinav Gomatam, Naveen George Thomas, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Vani Bhojan, Avantika Mishra and Pavani Gangireddy also form a part of the star cast. Shammeer Sultan has directed and scripted this film. The technical crew of Meeku Maathrame Cheptha includes Mathan Gunadeva to crank the camera, Sivakumar for music composition and Sreejith Sarang for editing.

Plans were to release Meeku Maathrame Cheptha in October but with many big name projects having released at the time, Vijay Deverakonda has decided to postpone the film’s release to November 1st. Trade circles consider it to be a smart move.

While the project with Tharun Bhascker is in the pipeline, Venkatesh also has Venky Mama in his kitty. Venky Mama is bankrolled jointly by Suresh Productions and Blue Planet Entertainment on a very big budget with KS Ravindra (alias Bobby) wielding the megaphone. Anup Rubens has been roped in to compose tunes for Venky Mama and Prasad Murella will be cranking the camera. Raashi Khanna and Payal Rajput will be playing the female leads in this flick and will be paired up with Naga Chaitanya and Venkatesh respectively. The shooting of Venky Mama will go on for some more days after which the post-production will begin. We hear that the film will be hitting the marquee early next year.
