Venkatesh acquires Telugu rights of Taramani

Director Ram of Thanga Meengal fame is gearing up for his next, an ultra-urban genre titled ‘Taramani’ starring debutant Vasanth Ravi and Andrea Jeremiah in lead roles with Anjali playing a pivotal role.

According to the latest update, Venkatesh of DV Cine Creations has acquired the Telugu rights of ‘Taramani’ for a huge price.

The music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and this film marks the third collaboration of director Ram and Yuvan Shankar Raja, after critically acclaimed albums Kattradhu Thamizh and Thanga Meengal.

The film is set against the city backdrop and is tipped to be on the lines of love and relationships in the IT field. Andrea will sport three different looks in the film.

Bankrolled by JSK Films Sathish Kumar, the film is expected to hit the screens soon.

Meanwhile, Venkatesh has also acquired the Telugu rights of Jeeva, Bobby Simah and Kajal Aggarwal starer 'Kavalai Vendam' titled “Enthavaraku Ee Prema” in Telugu.
