Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Manithan gets high praise from superstar Rajinikanth

Written by : TNM Staff

Actor-producer Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Manithan, a remake of Jolly LLB, which opened to positive reactions from critics and audiences alike, has also received high praise from none other than superstar Rajinikanth. Amidst all of the Kabali frenzy, the superstar watched the film in a private screening and heaped praise on lead actor Udhayanidhi for choosing to do the film in the first place.

Rajinikanth called Udhayanidhi after watching Manithan, and told him that he should continue doing such films because they suit his personality. He also congratulated the whole team for taking up this project, which is a look at the Indian judicial system from the point of view of a rookie lawyer. The film, directed by I Ahmed, meanwhile, also shone at the box-office and is showing a steady increase in footfalls each day.

Buoyed by the response to the film, Udhayanidhi plans to revive Idhayam Murali, a project with the Manithan director that he was intended to work on before it was put on the back-burner.
