Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan will be making his television debut with the Tamil version of Bigg Boss. While it has been confirmed that the show will be aired from June 18, it has been learnt that the producers are currently getting the Big Boss house ready. A palatial house with all the facilities is currently being constructed in Chennai’s EVP theme park. As many as 15 participants will be part of the show’s first season and will live in the house for 100 days.

According to a Times of India report, two politicians and two cricketers will be part of the show, apart from a few celebrities as well. Apparently, the Tamil version of the show will be made on a much bigger scale.

On taking up the new role, Kamal had said in a statement: “When Vijay TV approached me to play the host, I funnily quipped, who better than me, right? All my life, I have been under a constant watch and have been judged on whatever I have done, public or private. But now, the roles are reversed, as I would stand with the audiences and watch these celebrities in the house survive this ordeal."

On the career front, Haasan had recently announced that he will wrap up pending working on his long-delayed project Vishwaroopam 2 and release it this year. He also has multi-lingual comedy Sabash Naidu in his kitty.
