Maggi, Nestle’s star-product for India and a brand in itself has reportedly run into trouble with the authorities in Uttar Pradesh. After testing samples in labs in UP, authorities reportedly found high levels of Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) and lead in the packet of noodles.Aside from the relevant details, social media users picked on what caught their eye the most. Their Twitter and Facebook pages  are flooded with messages by consumers and all the messages have got an immediate response from the noodle makers.  A snapshot of their Twitter page hints at almost a PR exercise at denial. And another: Their Twitter handle has also been sending out a text document which contains a blanket denial of both charges.
