Tovino has had a busy year with his first film release being Aami on February 9th. He made a cameo appearance in it and then again in Naam. Tovino’s next film release was the bilingual Abhiyude Kadha Anuvinteyum / Abhi and Anu in Malayalam and Tamil respectively.

Then came his appreciated role as a hitman on the run for Maradona. He also has a number of projects lined up for release including Oru Kuprasidha PayyanTheevandi, Luca among others. There is also the upcoming Tamil film Maari 2 in which he will be seen sharing screen space with Dhanush.

With Tovino all geared up to join the sets of Lucifer, his fans are eager to know about his role. Well, for that we need to wait for some more time. The shooting of Lucifer began last month on July 18th while the official pooja happened a couple of days earlier. The film is progressing in Thiruvananthapuram right now with plans to continue the work in Mumbai and Dubai in different schedules later on.

The technical crew of the film includes Deepak Dev for music composition, Sujith Vasudevan for cinematography and Samjith for editing. Murali Gopy has penned the film and it is bankrolled by Anthony Perumbavoor under his banner Aashirvad Films. The cast also includes Manju Warrier, Vivek Oberoi, Indrajith Sukumaran, Saniya  Iyappan, Mamta Mohandas, Pranitha Subhash and Kalabhavan Shajohn playing supporting roles.
