Time for blinkers? Malaysian local council pulls down Aishwarya’s posters for ‘obscenity’

A local council in Malaysia is upset with Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She is way too sexy for their liking! Reports say that the council got its chaddis into a twist after huge posters of Aishwarya’s watch ad went up at a store in Kelantan, Malaysia. The shop was even fined for putting up the posters.

Aishwarya has been one of the ‘Ambassadors of Elegance’ for Longines, a Swiss watch brand, for the past ten years. However, the local council in Malaysia clearly thinks this ‘elegance’ is nothing short of ‘obscenity’ and is convinced that the images could ‘corrupt’ the youth.

If the new ads are anything like these, we don’t quite understand what the council’s problem is. Besides, it’s a given that Aishwarya is a sexy woman. The world should learn to live with it.

Or buy some blinkers and protect their precious minds from all the 'corruption' in the air.
