'Thathayya Chill', Vijay Devarakonda tells senior Congress leader who tore actor's posters

Actor Vijay Deverakonda on Monday asked Senior Congress leader, V Hanumanatha Rao to 'chill' after the latter fumed and tore the posters of Arjun Reddy, the actor’s film, which will be released on August 25 from an RTC bus. 

The veteran Rajya Sabha MP reportedly stopped the RTC bus and tore the film’s poster stuck on it, which featured the lead actors kissing.

He reportedly told that these posters are responsible for corrupting the youth and ruining their future.

Responding to this, the actor took to Facebook, and said, “Thathayya, Chill,” (grandpa chill).

Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey was given ‘A’ certificate for its adult content, and reportedly the censors chopped few intimate scenes.

The film directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga is a story about a medico student, Arjun, who can’t control his anger and his journey.

Music for the film is by Radhan and produced by Pranay Reddy Vanga.

The actor’s previous film Pellichoopulu won a National Award and was also a commercial success.
