Ajith is getting ready for his next big release, Viswasam, which is slated to hit the screens for Pongal 2019. The project marks his fourth consecutive outing with director Siva and just when the fans feel it’s time for Ajith to take a break from this combination, reports have emerged that he is most likely going to team up with Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru director Vinoth for his next project.

The industry grapevine is that Vinoth recently pitched a one-liner to Ajith that he really liked and wanted the former to develop it into a script.

Interestingly, this yet-untitled film will be produced by Boney Kapoor, who has been promised a project by Ajith when he worked with late Sridevi in English Vinglish. While there were rumors that Ajith’s next project with Boney Kapoor could be the Tamil remake of Pink sources from both the camps have denied the news.

The latest update is that Vinoth’s film with Ajith will be announced later this year and will go on the floors from February 2019. It is believed that Oscar-winning AR Rahman has been signed for this project and if the news is indeed true, he'd be reuniting with Ajith after a decade.

The duo last worked together in KS Ravi Kumar’s Varalaru. The official announcement regarding the project is yet awaited.

Vinoth, on the other hand, is also rumoured to have a project with Suriya in the pipeline. Currently waiting to wrap up NGK, being helmed by Selvaraghavan, he is busy shooting for Suriya 37 with Ayan and Maattrraan director KV Anand.

Suriya also has a project with Irudhi Suttru director Sudha Kongara and so it has to be seen when he will find time to collaborate with Vinoth.
