Written by : TNM

Reports surfaced a few months ago that the Tollywood director Trivikram Srinivas will be teaming up with Suriya for a film, however the actor does not want to risk it considering “24” did not perform well in Tamil.

Trivikram was busy with A...Aa starring Nithin, which was released on June 2 is doing well at the box office,  after which there were doubts on when this film would commence.

Initially it was reported that  Trivikram was  planning to team up with Superstar Mahesh Babu and Power Star Pawan Kalyan but did not as  both top actors were busy with  the shoot of ‘Brahotsavam’ and ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’.

Later it was reported that Suriya will next team up with Telugu filmmaker for a bilingual project. The project was planned to be bankrolled by S Radhakrishna under his banner on a whopping budget of Rs. 100 crores.

The buzz now is that Suriya is reportedly planning to hold for a while. His last outing 24 a bi-lingual movie which was released in April did not do well at the box office. While the Telugu version was a big hit, the Tamil  did not perform well.

Hence he doesn't want to take the risk of making a bilingual with Trivikram at this moment. He reportedly wants to do this movie after a year.
