Suriya has been busy touring Kerala to promote his upcoming release S3 and got a good reception from the people too. With the film due for release on January 26, the star and his team have decided to cancel the promos at Madurai and Tirunelveli.

The producers decided against holding a promotional event in these areas after the jallikattu protest reached a feverish pitch. As a mark of support to the protesters, Suriya decided not to promote the film in these areas. This is indeed a kind gesture by the star who had already expressed his complete support.

S3, which is part of the Singam franchise, has been directed by Hari. The film has Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan playing the female leads.
